    So, what exactly is an equity partner?
    An equity partner is basically a co-owner of an investment home. The investment home is held in a Land Trust with TRSTE, LLC as the trustee. Your ownership is a percentage of the beneficial interest of the land trust.

    How much must I invest?
    That’s up to you. 1/8 interest is the smallest amount we can sell. 1/2 interest is the highest. First we determine the fair market value of the home then we subtract mortgage to determine the equity. You can invest in any percentage of the equity at a discount from 65% to75%.

    Am I required to make any the mortgage payments? No.

    Am I required to pay the property taxes? No.
